Terms of service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Applybound website, app and services ("Service"), operated by Applybound ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Applybound provides a team of AI agents that help you search for jobs, prepare application materials, submit applications through the lanes you allow, manage recruiter messages, schedule interviews and understand offers. The Service prepares and proposes; you remain responsible for the decisions you make and the applications sent in your name.

2. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Your profile and truthfulness

You are responsible for the accuracy of the profile you confirm. The Service is designed to use only facts from your profile; you must not instruct it to misrepresent your experience, qualifications or identity.

4. Third-party platforms and automation

When you connect job platforms, mailboxes or calendars, you authorise us to act on them as you configure. Your use of third-party platforms is governed by their terms. Automating some platforms, and creating accounts with CAPTCHA solving, rented phone numbers or proxies, may breach those platforms' terms and can lead to restrictions on your accounts. You enable such features per platform and at your own risk, as described in the Automation & risk disclosure.

5. Decisions that stay with you

The Service will not accept, decline or negotiate an offer, or discuss compensation, on your behalf. Any such message is presented to you as a proposal.

6. Credits, plans and payment

Usage is measured in credits. Plans grant a monthly credit allowance that resets each billing period and does not roll over; credits bought in packs do not expire while your account is open. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Prices are shown on the Pricing page and may change with notice. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to break the law, send spam, harass anyone, apply under another person's identity, scrape or resell the Service, interfere with its security, or circumvent usage limits.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of your profile, documents and messages. You grant us a licence to process them solely to provide the Service. We do not use your content to train public AI models.

9. No guarantee of outcomes

We do not guarantee that you will receive interviews or offers, that any platform will accept an application, or that third-party services will be available.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for actions taken by third-party platforms on your accounts.

11. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. On closure your workspace data is deleted as described in the Privacy policy.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes in advance; continued use after they take effect means you accept them.
